TAG Spring Symposium
With generous support from the USDA Office of Partnerships and Public Engagement, Team Agriculture Georgia and the Georgia Heirs Property Law Center are excited to host an in-person workshop for farmers and landowners. This event will provide valuable information and resources to those just embarking on their journey as farmers and timber managers, as well as to seasoned ag professionals and landowners.

Natural Resources Conservation Workshop
The Natural Resources Conservation Workshop is available to Georgia’s Rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. This workshop focuses on the value, protection, and conservation of Georgia’s wildlife, forestry, soil, and water resources, including conservation in Georgia’s mining industry. The workshop provides students with a taste of college life while delivering valuable insight into careers through their counselors and instructors (students who have previously attended the workshop are not eligible).

2024 No Till Drill Field Day
Are you interested in using a no-till drill? On November 7, the Flint River Soil & Water Conservation District will demonstrate seeding using our rentable drill. Learn about seed selection, soil health analysis, and cost share programs. The workshop starts at 9 a.m. and is followed by lunch.

The thirty-sixth annual Georgia Peanut Tour will be held Sept. 17-19, 2024, in Americus, Georgia, and the surrounding area.
